  • “Dealing with the Jerk: Finding Forgiveness and Stubborn Grace for Our Spouses & Ourselves”
  • “Lighting an Extinguished Fire: Reviving Intimacy in Marriage”
  • Additional breakout sessions will address parenting / grandparenting / empty-nesting, etc.
Friday evening will feature a special dinner and mystery theater.  On Saturday, early morning breakfast and late morning brunch will be included.  Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day.
Speaker Bio: Scott Foreman
Scott was born and raised in Canada and trusted in Christ at the age of six. He attended the first year program at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York. Upon completion, Scott joined the U.S. ‘Impact Team’, and then completed the second year program at the Bible Institute. Further education was fulfilled at Tennessee Temple University.  Upon graduating, he joined the staff of Word of Life in New York, where he produced and hosted Word of Life’s national radio program, ‘Word of Life Today’. Scott also was the Assistant Director of Word of Life Island, a teen camp in Upstate New York. The Lord led him to be part of the Word of Life Canada team where he served for 10 years, most recently as the Executive Director.In October of 2015 God opened the door for Scott and his wife Rachel to begin ministering at Fellowship Bible Church in Mullica Hill, New Jersy, where he serves as Executive Pastor/Elder. Scott and Rachel’s main ministry is to their four boys. They enjoy going on family vacations together, playing Board games, basketball, ping pong and watching a good movie.  Scott’s life verse is 2 Timothy 2:15.
Speaker Bio: Brett Shilton
Currently in his 5th year as Pastor for Family Ministries at Faith Fellowship in Marshfield, WI, Brett has served in various capacities of youth and family ministry for the last 20 years. His desire is to see families become spiritually healthy and be on mission in their own communities. He and Kim have been married for 18 years and have four children between the ages of 8 & 15: Liam, Sada, Iona & Méav. They are currently in the process of adopting a little boy from China. Brett loves to spend time with his family, especially in the outdoors–adventures on Lake Superior are one of his favorite ways to vacation. He loves music, reading, coffee, camping, running and discovering new eateries on dates with Kim.
