A native of Haddon Heights, NJ, Doug has always considered himself a true “4 for 4” Philadelphia fan. He played four years of baseball at Eastern and then received an MS in Athletic Training from Indiana University in Bloomington. As a certified athletic trainer he has covered everything from pee-wee football to professional sports. Some high-profile events include the 2009 USA Men’s Soccer CONCACAF Gold Cup, 2008 US Gymnastics Trial Finals, 2008 and 2006 NCAA men’s basketball tournament 1st and 2nd rounds, 2004-2008 Pennsylvania State wrestling tournaments, 2001 Big Ten and NCAA wrestling tournaments, and the 2001 Big Ten and NCAA crew championships.

Based in Mullica Hill, NJ, Goliathon holds bi-annual events and donates proceeds to charity:water to bring clean water to third world countries.
